Reasons for option 3: 

- flexible layout (the desks look easy to move); 
- four students can have easy access to a dictionary which can be placed in the centre of each desk. 

Reasons against option 1: 

- it can be problematic for some lessons (attached tablets are very small). 
- the tablets are usually on the right, which isn’t appropriate for left-handed students.

Reasons against option 2: 

- layout is boring, it looks like a traditional classroom, where students face the board all the time, which is not necessary nowadays; 
- students at the back might have trouble seeing the board and hearing the teacher.
